Solutions for the Management of Activities in Romanian Public Entities

This paper presents an integrated information system for management of activities designed to be used by Romanian public institutions.The main objective of the research presented in this paper is the development of this system (IISMA) that provides the information management of public institution by making use of resources and activities, software functional modules and open-source computing applications.The system must be flexible, versatile and transparent in terms of access and location of information, replication and updating in distributed databases, control procedures applicable to all magnetic media and transfer of data to them, ensuring the inverse connection (feedback) for continuous comparison and evaluation of what has been done in relation to what was proposed.IISMA is based on open - source solutions and functional software specialization modules, aiming to reduce the complexity of the conceptual separation.
